Film Noir Collection

As a photography student at HND1 at Dundee and Angus College, I had to carry out a Graded Unit project where I would demonstrate all my knowledge acquired throughout the year in the photography studio. And what better opportunity than to explore the lighting techniques used by the great Film Noir directors of the 1940s in the United States.

To carry out this project, I worked hand in hand with two other excellent makeup and hairdressing professionals, Sabrina Agostinis and Kendal, who would also present the results of this project as part of their Graded Unit.

I would also like to thank the exceptional work done by our models, other college students like us who were very motivated by the project and made our work enormously easier. My eternal thanks to: Anabel, Greti Halasz, Patrycja Bondyra, John Thomson, Pete Burdass, Carron Phinn, Ana Pina, and Genna O'Neil.

If you want to know a little more about the creative process that I carried out to carry out this photo session, I invite you to read the post I have on my blog where I tell you all the details and you can see the photographs of the process, the films that use for inspiration and some details that can help you create your next photo project.

Exhibition at the Gallery 48 restaurant in Dundee, Scotland.

To thank and celebrate with my friends the realization of this beautiful project, we made an exhibition of my photographs

"Film Noir Collection" at the famous Gallery 48 restaurant, a meeting point for the city's artists.

The exhibition was a success and it was decorating the walls of Gallery 48 for more than a month.

In addition, my friends and colleagues Jeni Reid and Claudia Starchevich also participated in this exhibition, who exhibited their own work.
